"This is a large hotel. It is a little older but clean and well maintained. We had a beachfront room and thought that sitting on the balcony and watching Lake Michigan was fantastic. Our room and bathroom were clean and the shower was good. Our beds were comfortable. We were able to purchase our ferry tickets at the hotel. The ferry shuttle picked us up at the hotel and returned us to the front door after our day at Mackinac Island. We would stay here again."

"Been years since we stayed at Park Place...had an excellent 3 night stay, very accommodating for our late arrival and request to have our two rooms close together! Front desk staff excellent, dining room dinner and breakfast stay excellent, very nice manager and food very good! Excellent convenient parking & ramp for scooter entry. We hope to stay again next year! ONLY downside was the main elevator was not functioning and understand has not been fixed for quite a while, other than that, a great stay and love how close it is to downtown for my husbands scooter! THANK YOU PARK PLACE!!! Nearly forgot...love the GIFT SHOP!!!"

"We had a beautiful view of Lake Michigan! The sunrise was gorgeous! The room was nice and cozy with pine walls! The only downside was we could hear other guests talking from other rooms. They should have made it more soundproof."
