「It was a great first camping trip for the kids. The safari tent was well-heated, included all items we needed and had the perfect decor to make our stay welcoming. Some drawbacks were the mattress (needs a new, updated mattress so you don't roll into the middle), the close proximity to the interstate (the traffic noise at night was loud for us) and the EMF towers that were at the entrance of the campsite. With that said, the care that the owners have taken to ensure the amenities are well-cared...

「Great place for a stay. It was a cool November night and the tent was dry and the heater was warm!. They did an excellent job of creating a “glamping” site. I will stay here again when I pass through eastern KY.」

「We loved the location and how peaceful it was. I'm a senior and I found that walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night uphill got old but we were told about that so I expected it. We had the tent that was the one farthest from the bathrooms, which didn't help. The only thing I was upset about was they had a coffee pot, coffee but no water or cups. Didn't understand that. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area. 」

「This teepee was so cool! But the October weather was even cooler, ah! We even brought a heater with us but it got very cold overnight. The location was quiet and serene. The teepee has everything you need and we truly enjoyed this one-of-a-kind experience. My only suggestion would be to stay earlier in the year when the chances for temp drops aren't as low as we experienced.」
