Criccieth
"Excellent position right on the sea front at Criccieth and we found it easy to find a place to park on the road in front. The exterior of the building is not in the best state. Inside the apartment was clean and bright with stunning sea views from both the living area and bedroom windows. Provisions were basic and we were only provided with one bath towel each for a 5 night stay, which is not enough. Unfortunately, we were disturbed by long periods of noise and heavy footsteps from people...

"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"The room was clean and welcoming. Initially I didn’t see that my checking in email was spammed and was sent well in good time before my check in time , because of that I contacted the staff and they helped me beyond the expectation they were going on an extra mile of securing accommodation elsewhere and were pledging that I should not be stranded and without anywhere to put up for the night and for my stay. I felt a family treatment rather than a client. The place was really a family place or...

"We had to change rooms to a smaller cheaper room as the one we were given had a shower which wouldn’t turn off and was leaking. Whilst it was good they could move us we were not offered any kind of recompense for us having to move to a smaller cheaper room, after we had paid extra for the one we booked! Even a free drink or breakfast would have been accepted but nothing …. Which was a shame!"

"We had an excellent stay, hotel and grounds beautiful, clean and well maintained. Our room had everything we needed. Our only downside was lack of transport, taxis are very hard to get, and public transport very scarce. We would definitely recommend and will be paying a return visit"
