「Very nice property, comfortable stay. The hotel and dining room staff were very good. Our one critical comment is about cleanliness in the dining room - utensils and glasses could have been more carefully vetted. Not the biggest deal, but more attention to detail required there. 」
「It is a nice hotel with a Starbucks in the lobby. Everything is lovely and the staff was courteous and helpful. It is outside of town but an easy drive to downtown Middlebury. 」

「It’s the perfect little motel.
I have 2 suggestions: 1) a doormat inside the entry door ( because today was heavy rain)
2) A streetlight at either driveway entrance. It was very dark and with the rain visibility was awful. Fortunately the traffic was light.

「I've stayed here before and returned twice recently because it's very reasonably priced, very clean and has amenities to make you more comfortable that other places I've stayed don't necessarily have. The Maple Leaf was a great find for me since I've stayed at a few other places in Schroon Lake which were OK, but this is my favorite spot to stay.」
「This was more than just another place to stay, it was a great experience. We stayed in the cottage and it was better than described. It was a perfect place to spend time relaxing. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen provided everything we needed. The entire unit was very clean. John and Yvonne were warm and gracious hosts. I just can’t say enough good about it all. 」
