「Lovely little place to stay in a beautiful part of Cornwall. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spotless.」

「The bedroom smelt like mould, the wallpapers had mould all over them. The window had so much mould on it and I asked if member of Staff could open the bedroom window little bit more but he couldn’t as he was the only person working at the time. The cold tap in the bathroom doesn’t work and not nice to use hot water to brush your teeth with. 「This was the culmination of a self-promise made 11 years ago. Then, we had afternoon tea on the patio, but can’t remember how we discovered Portloe. 「Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟」

「A perfectly acceptable place to stay. I've stayed there many times and some of the rooms are wonderful. Room 12 (that I was in this time) is not one of those rooms! It's small, noisy (yards with dogs outside), the bathroom is basic and the bed is not amazing either. Check-in was poor but there was only one chap on duty in a busy Wetherspoons type pub, so he didn't have that much time (or energy) to give me. All in all, just OK, not amazing.」
