「This hotel was totally unexpected. The personal touches that they add are enchanting! Each room is unique and the thought behind them is incredible. They offer a coffee bar during the day and a wine bar in the evening. We were even able to have a free movie outside with popcorn! This is an amazing place! The lobby is like a public living room and there are seating areas with firepits in multiple locations. It is totally walkable to downtown Highlands . . which is so charming! Stay here!」

「Budget friendly and clean.」

「Staff was great, room was clean but a bit dated. Excellent location - walking distance to most everything in Blowing Rock. Quite, dedicated parking spot.」

「The Owl's Perch and surroundings is beautiful and serene. I would 100% recommend. The accommodation in very well laid out with many things thought of for your convenience. Enjoyed every moment, wish we could have stayed longer.」

「A nice quiet getaway. We witnessed a beautiful proposal at the gazebo. Our first choice of cabin had to be changed due to some cleanliness issue. It was taken care of quickly and we were able to get into another cabin.」

「Super cute place and great value!」

「Great property in good shape.」

「River hideaway was perfect for our week in NC. I could sit all day by the river and never get bored. We already miss it!」

「The Treehouse Suite at The Calhoun House is a great property. This particular suite is located in a separate building from the other suites, which was ideal for us, as we had our baby and toddler with us. We did not worry about disturbing other guests if he cried or was a little loud. Edward was amazing as we checked in. He had some food essentials in the refrigerator and had some scrumptious treats from the local bakery. The suite was well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supplies and was...
