"It was a great place for a first timer to japan."

"The staff were very helpful. We appreciate the amenities provided. The location is very convenient."

"Good price and location"

"Very wonderful stay has bed has shower everything you need to live. And get plenty food all around"

"The experience was amazing especially considering the low cost. It’s better suited for people travelling light because storage for suitcases is limited. The mattress was comfortable as well as the included comforter and pillow. I could faintly hear someone snoring somewhere in the room, but it did not ruin my sleep. The showers and toilets and in the adjoining room were plentiful enough not to have to wait to use. The Ueno Station is very close and made it easy for me to go where I wanted...

"Clean, comfortable and close to shopping district. Rooms are small but come with an excellent private bath. I stayed here 15 years ago and remember liking it more than the fancy $300 a night hotel room paid for by my employer for work nights. Now, if you need space or are traveling with children I probably wouldn't book but it is easily the best value for a comfortable room in all of Japan in my opinion. "

"Wonderful stay helpful staff "

"Good little capsule bed was not great but ok. Great staff. "

"Loved the surrounding area, a lot more quiet than the rest of Tokyo. There are 24 beds in the room, but you rarely bump into other people unless you actively hang out in the shared spaces."

"I love this place and it's a fantastic place to make friends and it's a great town to wake up to and the perfect center for taking the subway to the rest of Tokyo. I love this place! "

"The place was nice. It has a small social area next to a small kitchen. Can say what that’s like as I never used it but it looked fine. The staff were nice and you get a small discount for the pizza shop you walk through to get to the hostel. I would however recommend to those in japan less than a month to get something other than pizza"
