Route 66 Labyrinth Home

About this space
This 2 bedroom 2 bath modular house is adjacent to the Labyrinth. It sits at the front of the 20 acre ranch. The shared lake is close by and available for fishing and swimming or the use of one of the pedal boats. You will have the use of a golf cart and can visit the tortoise preserve and the lake easily. The ranch is completely fenced and gated, and you have a clicker to the gate.
The space
The tortoise preserve is always open to observe the several types of rescued tortoieses. The lake is available and there is a large Art Studio which is available by reservation. It is great for larger conferences. Other places on the ranch are distanced, giving privacy and quiet to your house.
Guest access
There is not a real town of Newberry Springs other than a couple of bars, a post office, a convenience store and take-out food. Any major shopping must happen in Barstow or on-line. We get super delivery service from UPS and our local post office. Close-by attractions include Calico Ghost Town, Mitchell Caverns in the Mojave Desert Preserve, Afton Canyon, Mojave Desert Museum, a railroad museum and the Desert discovery Center. Areas for hiking and rock-hounding ae easily accessible
Other things to note
The Air Conditioning is an Evaporative Cooler. You will have all the initial amenities, but for longer stays I do not replace toiletries or cleaning supplies. You will need to do that.
