「The novelty of staying in a 400 year old property, in an incredible location, right in the middle of Rye, made this the perfect place for a long weekend. Everything needed was right out the front door - museums, castle, pubs, and cafes. The actual house was well laid out with decent furnishings and clean towels, and linens. 「Lovely hosts. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, don’t worry if you’ve forgotten anything! Has been decorated since photographs were taken so now more country cottage than Scandinavian. Terrace and outside of property very dusty but it is a farm yard and the weather was extremely hot. 「We loved everything about our stay in Mafeking. The house, the garden and Benenden are all beautiful. Mafeking is a great choice for familys, there are plenty of toys and a lovely playground nearby. We extended our stay because we loved it that much and had a very friendly and accommodating experience with the costumer service. Next summer holiday we will be coming back and are really looking forward to visit Mafeking again. Absolutely recommended.」

「A wonderful 4 nights spent at Romden farm, couldnt have been bette. It was great, just to open the back door and walk for miles with the dogs, come back chill out and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. At the big pond we enjoyed feeding the fish and watching the barn owl hunt at dusk. The barn was clean, comfortable and the perfect place to get away from everything. The owners made us feel so welcome we will definitley be back in the future.」
