"This is a very old house, with old furniture - it is well kept. It has a new clothes washer and dishwasher. The clothes washer leaked under the sink, and the owner came to try to fix it. It was pretty clean, although there were a lot of ants in the kitchen. There’s no air-conditioning, obviously, and it was very hot - it is hard to cool the house now unless you leave all the windows open, and there are no screens, so then a lot of flying insects come in. "Pros: - Very helpful and friendly staff. They had a printed listed of recommended restaurants and went through a map with us on check in, and also discussed upcoming events. Ordered taxis for us as well. - Amenities include indoor and outdoor pools and a spa that you have complimentary access to but have to schedule, Did not use these Cons: - Further from the action than I realized. 8 min walk to the beach, 20 minute walk to everything else - Felt sort of like an upgraded motel. Did not feel particularly nice, even with an upgraded room. - Extremely minimal storage in room and horrible lighting in bathroom - Housekeeping was sub-par, did not replace amenities like bars of soap in the bathroom In summary, experience was fine but I would stay somewhere else next time."

"We traveled as a family of six and booked two rooms at the NH Collection San Sebastián. It was an absolutely excellent stay! The location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk to Ondarreta Beach (which, in my opinion, is the best beach in Donostia) and about 7 minutes from Mount Igueldo. The on-site restaurant is delicious, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this property for families!"
