"Everything about this hotel is perfect"

"While the last minute rate was low for my room, I didnt expect everything to be worn down and dingy. I could feel the springs in the mattress and slipped and fell getting into the tub. The building itself looks impressive when you arrive, but the rooms leave a bit to be desired."

"I upgraded my booking to include a room with city view-well worth the small amount extra. Very comfortable, clean and basically pretty perfect. Staff were efficient and helpful and the hotel itself was a stone’s throw from the Old Vic theatre where we were heading to watch a show. Would definitely return and recommend."

"Perfect location and a comfortable room with an excellent shower. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety of options, although it was a little unusual that it was served in the reception area. What let the hotel down, however, were the check-in and check-out arrangements. A 4pm check-in feels unnecessarily late, although we were at least able to leave our bags beforehand. More disappointing was that after checking out at 11am, we were told we couldn’t store our luggage because they had “run out of space.” Unfortunately, this completely disrupted our final day in Bath so decided to cut our trip short and catch an earlier train home."
