"The room and the facility were just right, and the location was lovely. But the best thing about the stay was the helpfulness and interest from the staff. From upgrading our room (to include the great view!), to helping us find one of the five Starbucks Roasterys in the world, and storing our luggage after we checked out, the service was personal and effective. Jock was especially helpful, and really seemed to enjoy helping us with every part of our stay. I would definitely return to this hotel for my next Chicago visit."

"3 bedrooms - excellent if you have a large party. Plenty of space, stocked kitchen (utensils, plates, cookware). Comfortable beds, free wifi. Very clean throughout and had been thoroughly updated, so rooms and furniture did not feel old or crusty at all. It was a great place to call home base during our visit. Nothing special (ie did not have anything "impressive") but nothing bad either. A dirty dish towel, and dirty towel in bathroom were left behind by previous guests. Checkin process was odd - the host mailed me the keys and they arrived the night before the trip, so we were a little anxious."

The guest house offered a comfortable home base after a busy day, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. I would happily recommend the DuBois McCormick Place Guest House to both business and leisure travelers, and I look forward to staying there again."

"We loved our stay. However there are a few things that would make the experience even better. Bigger coffee cup, a tall kitchen trash receptacle, maybe another tv in the largest bedroom because with multiple guests everyone may not want to watch the same thing. There should be a physical book with info about the area including how close china town is.Where the nearest entrance for the el. And invest in bath sheets for the bathrooms instead of bath towels. Small changes will elevate the experience to luxury status.Still the stay was great. I will definitely consider the next time I come to Chicago."
