「We just had a wonderful weekend at Mount Dora. Our stay at Heron Cay was a most pleasurable experience.」

「The room was very musty, and there was hair on the shower wall when we arrived. Two people in my party left with sinus and ear infections. I think most of this was due to the age of the property, but some updating to the systems (HVAC, etc) would make it a much more comfortable stay.」

「Would have been nice to have a small map on how to get in and out of town with all the road closures from the craft festival.」

「Clean rooms, polite staff, and a great location. The check-in process was smooth and quick. Highly recommended.」

「Lovely stay in Mount Dora, perfect location, clean and quiet. Would definitely stay again.」

「It was cheap and it looked it」

「Easily accessible from road. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good.」

「The elevator was out during my stay, but otherwise it was clean and comfortable, and the front desk clerk was knowledgeable and helpful. I would stay here again.」

「The room was nicely updated. The bed could used more then just a sheet for covers. Had a stained desk top I let management know about. It has a deposit hold so didn’t want be charged for that.」

「The motel was very convenient to Mt. Dora. It needs updating though and cleanliness was only OK. There was a very nice private patio off the room overlooking a lake which was very pleasant. However, the room was very dark with very little lighting. There was no reading light next to the sofa in the front room. There were no bedside lights. There was only one very dim wall light in the main room. In no way was this adequate.」

「The friendly staff they responded quickly for a situation that happened during our stay I would love to visit again」

「The owner was so kind! Unfortunately our room was not clean and the pool had a green tinge in it.」

「The front staff was amazing! My bf and I enjoyed how spacious the room was. He loved the smell of the shower gel. The only real issues for us were the pillows( not soft enough and there were only 3, most hotels offer 4 for the king-sized beds. And the biggest issue honestly was the size of the TV and the difficulty trying to get the TV to work correctly. The shower was amazing, my bf commented on how good the water pressure was. We really enjoyed ourselves. Also, we LOVED the pool!」
