Big bold font to WARN and THREATEN everywhere on their instructions pasted all over the room and property. Shockingly bad. Could not wait to leave, so glad only stayed one night. "

"Our room (suite with mountain view) was more than enough for our one night stay in Lake Tekapo.. Based off some other slightly negative reviews, it may just depend on which type of room you book. Otherwise, our room was clean, comfortable, and we had no issue with noise or any of the amenities. Our room was situated towards the back of the resort - not sure if that makes a difference with noise level. My partner and I appreciated having the ability to walk to the lake/town center. Checking in and out was also a smooth and quick process for us. "

"Lovely cosy cottage with fantastic rural outlook. About 15 mins out of Tekapo . The owners are very friendly and you can order excellent meals to be delivered. We met the family dogs and cat. Very restful and enjoyable stay."

"Beautiful view from kitchen but everything else was awful. Never been so hot in a dorm. Why air conditioning in the whole hostel but not the rooms? No towel included. And one of the 2 fridges was out so groceries stuffed in one fridge. Super expensive."
