"It was a decent stay but during the stay, one elevator was out of service and there was plumbing work so shower wasn’t working intermittently. "

"This is a smoke free hotel yet walking into our room it was overwhelming smokey. No other available rooms to switch. There were even cigarette burns in our comforter. When asked to switch in the morning to another room new staff was aware of what room number exactly I was in as if they knew it was smoked in. The staff was friendly in understanding and offered a refund if I dispute with Expedia. The staff did try to deodorize room but knowing this room was smokey allowed guest to stay without deodorizer or checking comforter was upsetting. I understand staff can’t control guests but being in town for an event where everything else is also booked left us with no other options for the night. Also since there are stoves in room, we were woke up to smoke alarms going off for 20 minutes and no staff is at desk from 12 am to 9 am."

"The staff was really nice but this hotel is very low quality and gross. I’m pretty sure there was pee all over our walls. Ceiling was falling apart. The bed was clean…I but everything else was filthy and the walls are paper thin. You definitely get what you pay for."

"Breakfast Buffett was great. But that was about it. We booked 2 rooms. One room, there was a blower left in the room and the AC off. We called & nobody came to get it. We left it in the hallway & it was still there when we left. Our bathroom door didn’t shut, & we could hear the people next door fighting at 2am. You couldn’t even see out some of the windows from paint being smeared. The other rooms AC wasn’t working. And they had electrical covers off with wires everywhere. Definitely not worth the price we paid to stay. "

"Came to help my son move out for the summer and lucked out getting a room at The Biddle. So convenient and nicer than the other hotels we’ve stayed at in the area. They seem to always be booked but I lucked out. If they have a room for your stay book it!"

"The man at the desk seemed upset and bothered that I booked with a third party (hotels.com) He even doubted that I had already paid and wanted to charge me again. I asked if there was shopping near I was told quickly no. I used Google maps and surprisingly there was a large shopping mall 15 min drive away. I consider that close. The water in the shower was cold as it ran in the tub. Cold enough that I considered asking for a new room, when the water was switched to the shower head it warmed up enough to shower. The temperature was usable but not as enjoyable as home. The ice machine only gives out about enough to fill a bucket then needs to make more. The ice machine on the 1st floor was not even on. We did not eat on property, but Sunday morning there was a lot of trash in the lobby and outside like beer bottles and pizza stuff."
