"Decided to stay here vs Cinque Terre and was happy with the decision. Located right by train station. Room was pretty cramped with family of 4 and could easily hear neighboring rooms. Room was clean, AC was a little weak though so was a bit warm at night. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would probably give a 9 if I could given the value compared to neighboring towns. Despite some people reporting that La Spezia didn't seem safe I never got that impression and was travelling with 2 kids....

"The bathroom is very small and the shower is very small. The pictures make it appear that it is their beach in front of the hotel, but you have to pay at the beach to sit at the chairs/umbrellas. Overall though nice hotel easy to get to from the train. It is located in the new town of Monterosso."

"The property manager Sandro was great; he was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was clean, compact, and very efficient. We stayed for 3 nights that included Friday and Saturday which were very loud nights because this apartment is right above a restaurant. The music and the screaming was very loud until at least 2AM on weekends. "

"The photos for this property don't do it justice! A really, really great place to stay in La Spezia. It's located in a very convenient area (~5min to the train station) which made it easy to travel around the area to Cinque Terre, but also only ~10-15min to get to the old town area and walk around. Lots of fantastic restaurants nearby as well. And Maria, the host, was absolutely fantastic and so sweet. My friend accidentally left his airpods after we checked out, and she even shipped them to him...

"The house is as lovely as it looks in the photos. It has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. The views were spectacular overlooking the sea and mountains. The hosts are available and friendly and even though it is attached to another vacation house they have made it easy for all with separate parking and entrances so you feel like you are in a private place. "The apartment was extremely clean, well equipped and mostly private. Not sure if the apartment above is a rental but the people were extremely noisy. Check in was a bit of an issue as the sat nav said we had arrived and we were still about a mile away. Luckily we texted the manager and he came and found us. The pool was beautiful and the manager came most days to clean it and sweep the garden. I would certainly recommend staying here. Oh, and the view was exceptional. Thank you"
