「This was our third stay at The Plaza. We love being able to stay there when visiting our granddaughter at Winona State. We like the fact that is has a very nice attached restaurant, a great free breakfast, and friendly staff. The only complaint I have had in three visits happened this time. It was this: our bathroom smelled like a wet dog -- a smell that I cannot stand! Obviously, a previous guest had given their pet a bath. 「Beautiful property with views of the Mississippi. Host checked in on us often and was very accommodating. We really enjoyed reading about the history of the home. There were so many cute details including a framed print of the original house plans. Nice place to stay.」

「Nice clean property and friendly hosts. My only reason for. GOOD rating is my misunderstanding of the layout, we were up stairs and the living area downstairs. Not keen on stairs at our age. The thermostat was owned controlled and not located in our lodging area so things heated up during the day making it uncomfortable in the evenings. The owners did provide fans. I would recommend ceiling fans and maybe some split air units.」

「Booked this as a last minute mini spring break vacation and absolutely loved it. Will visit again. Cabin was adorable, clean and very well kept. Hammock chairs under cabin were the highlight of the trip. Found some games in the coffee table and it was nice to teach my son games that did not involve electronics. Bathhouse was very close by and exceptionally clean and well stocked. Shower was amazing. Puppy had a great time walking the trail with us. Easy drive to Whitewater State Park.」

「Wonderful spot to chill. Common outdoor area had bags, fire pits, grills. Nice spot to meet and chat with other guests. Loved being able to just walk to dock and fish. Super relaxing and peaceful spot to stay.」
