This hotel is not in the old, quaint, historic part of Metz, but it is 50m from the train station. Nice staff, clean, new.

Don't Hesitate, Book it!

Shopped all over the train station area, and I can easily recommend Campanile Metz as very good, inexpensive and literally next door to the train station. Our room faced the train station and we NEVER heard a train. You have to walk thru the train station to get to the restaurants, but Metz is a small town and this is not a big deal.

Cold room

My room was terribly cold. Thank God I had a woolen cardigan and woolen socks. Slept with double pyjamasesa and the woolen socks. After two nights I asked for another room, got a change. And was informed that they were renovating the heating system in some rooms, so it might not work then. So why let them renting, then? The breakfast was rather boring. But service good and the location excellent, right beside the railway station and and conference center.

Hotel economico, ma buono. Avevo ricevuto un'email prima del mio arrivo in cui mi informavano che avrebbero chiesto una cauzione di 100 euro al check-in e che avrei dovuto segnalare "a monte" eventuali problemi della stanza, devo dire che invece al mio arrivo non mi è stata chiesta alcuna cauzione e la camera mi è stata assegnata ben prima dell'orario previsto per il check-in. Personale molto gentile durante tutto il soggiorno. Colazione basica, ma accettabile (affettati, formaggi, qualche piatto caldo, qualche croissant, macchinetta per caffè/latte/cappuccino, un paio di succhi industriali). Stanza discreta con bollitore, ma letto piuttosto scomodo. Lenzuola e asciugamani molto lisi. Difficile fare la doccia senza allagare il bagno. Lavandino non ingorgato, ma occorreva aprire poco il rubinetto perché l'acqua scendeva molto lentamente nello scarico (magari basterebbe versare un liquido apposito per pulire le tubature). Stanza ben insonorizzata al sesto piano, ma aria condizionata rumorosa. Posizione molto comoda per la stazione ferroviaria, ma lontana dal centro città. C'è tuttavia una navetta gratuita messa a disposizione dal Comune di Metz che parte dal vicino Centre Pompidou e ferma anche davanti alla stazione.

Très bon accueil, hall d’entrée spacieux et bien décoré avec la possibilité de se restaurer et de boire un verre. La chambre était spacieuse et très bien entretenue.

Logée dans une chambre PMR: douche ouverte avec siège, cintres à mi-hauteur et lavabo plus bas. Rien de très agréable, mais le pire aura été la lumière verte du boîtier d'alerte qui clignote 24h/24 à côté du lit ....

Première chambre étage 7 la fenêtre ne peut pas être fermée à fond et l’étanchéité a été faite avec un joint : poignée tournée à 30 degrès . Il faisait -3 dehors. Chambre froide, aucun chauffage possible pour compenser, car centralisé . J’ai demandé de changer de chambre dans les étages inférieurs plus chauds. Au 3 parfait.
