Holiday Inn Colchester by IHG
The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Jess on reception was really helpful as was one of the male staff in the restaurant in particular, I think his name was Adam, but I am not sure. Sadly the pool was shut for maintenance.

Holiday Inn Express Braintree by IHG
Checked in late but room was really good for the price. Really (exceptionally) friendly staff from start to finish. Great little breakfast and a good night's sleep (bed a little hard and small but only one night it was ok). Overall would recommend and stay again.
