The apartment is at the top of a 5-story building. There are 5 flights of stairs and no handrails. You need to be in shape and have a good sense of balance for the stairs. "We had a wonderful 7 night stay at Hotel Gabriel!! Our room was beautiful and quite comfortable and the location of the hotel could not be better. We walked everywhere in Menton including the train station. I sleep hot so having a fan directly above the bed made a huge difference in my comfort! My only surprise was not having any shampoo or conditioner or lotion in the bathroom. That’s something I’ve never experienced before. But the staff were amazing and breakfast was delish - so 5 stars from me! "
