The Peabody Memphis
Terrible check in experience, huge queue, poor staff efficiency and room not ready. Hotel is nice but bar staff rude and not one bit welcoming. Area around hotel unsafe, dangerous, do not walk anywhere alone, deserted areas, almost dystopian it was so empty but also appears to be unsafe. Do yourself ...

Comfort Inn Memphis Downtown
Very friendly and courteous staff; was very helpful in referring places of interest to visit. Room was clean and spacious; excellent breakfast.

Memphis Riverline Hotel
Our room was clean, but some things were not present: tissue paper, hair dryer, privacy sign, downstairs menu, WiFi instructions. The landline telephone basically worked, but the direct line buttons, i.e., Guest Services, Emergency, etc., did nothing when pressed.

Aloft Memphis Downtown
I did like this place, just a little upset you could only get water from the water fountain or restaurant/bar which is only open from 5pm-10pm with limited/bar food. Can supply water for guests i think would be considerate.
