Only stayed for one night. 1. Got allocated to a room without any available bed first so I talked to the receptionist and ended up in a new room. I guess there were mistakes with the system. 2. Facilities are good, rooms have high ceiling and every bed has individual outlet and curtain, however there’s a huge cupboard which I can’t even open on the wall above my knee, and when I sleep my knee hit it a few times through out the night accidentally, and I’m only 5’4, I can’t imagine how tall people could survive this. 3. One of the shared toilets was a bit dirty but I guess it’s unavoidable for hostels. Overall I gave 4 stars as the facilities are good but to be honest not live up to what I expected especially the anti-human design of the cupboards.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Bed was comfortable. Check in was very slow as the staff member was having a long conversation with another staff member checking in, but otherwise a great stay.

Good room but overpriced
Was upgraded to the deluxe private room after having issues with changing my booking dates. Staff at Selina were very helpful and friendly. The room was huge and very comfortable (although two single beds put together rather than an actual double), with a tiny ensuite and shower that leaked through the door. Lights in the room were very dim and you could hear a lot of the noise from the street below. I don’t think the price is very good value when you can get a luxury hotel for pretty much the same price elsewhere in the city.

Best hostel in Aussie
Service was amazing. Arrived early and checked out early and both times I was able to store my luggage. The staff were all super super friendly especially those at reception. My room got an upgrade and was given an amazing room with a lounge. Bathroom was small but practical so it's not a complaint. Lots of activities happening in the hostel that you can choose to participate. Somehow was on the winning team for the Halloween trivia night so that was fun! The only downside was prob the kitchen, if you wanted hot water after Midnight, you were not able to get it (while reasonable so no drunk person cooks and injures or burns self) as the kitchen was locked by then. A lot of the stoves were also not working well, took a couple of attempts to finally get one hob working
