"Our stay at the Boathouse in Melaya was amazing! The house is exactly as pictured and beautiful! I can’t rave enough about the staff. They are absolutely amazing and so accommodating. The only complaint I have is how remote it is. If total peace and quiet is what you’re looking for then you will be thrilled. We would definitely stay there again if we go to Bali. It’s nice to Spend half your time in Kuta and then end your vacation in the seclusion of the Boathouse."

"We fully enjoy our stay. Etta and Kadek are fabulous cooks. Dharma drove us everywhere and made great suggestions. Budi our house manager was there if we needed anything The main issue we had were the wild dogs ….fighting most of the day and through some of the night. The coffee machine needs an update which we told the owners . It is a great place to relax. Also both ladies gave fantastic massages. "

"As we knew that northern Bali is not as developed as the overcrowded South, we rented a car and drove from Sanur to Seririt. The villa is challenging to find even with Google maps, but once you are there you will not regret it. It's a real gem and worth the trip. Our three children spent most of the days in the pool which is surrounded by trees and therefore even has some shade which is quite useful in the hot hours of the day. "We would strongly suggest picking somewhere else as the location is terrible and the property manager is a scamming women who threatened us and tried to extort money from us based on a scam she had with an unconnected business from the property. When you are in a foreign country like Indonesia any threat from a property manager calling the police on a lie is very intmidating. "This is an incredibly beautiful and peaceful place. The hotel and restaurant staff were helpful and accommodating. We stayed here for three days after spending time in Uluwatu, Ubud, and hiking Mt Batur and it was just what we needed. We sat by the pools, walked the beach, got massages, and went into town for lunch each day. The rooms and bathrooms were beautiful, each room has its own hammock. Highly recommend! "

"What can I say this is my second stay here and each time the place is amazing from the villa to pool to the surrounding area just amazing and well thought out. The Euro Restaurant was ok but the Indonesian Restauant overlooking sunset was out of this world. Service was excellent. Reception was interesting asking for same docs again even though were repeat guests and have already given our documents weird. Welcome drink needs an upgrade lol"

"The house was wonderful and so was the staff. They all make you feel so welcomed and taken care of. It was so nice having a personal driver. He gave us recommendations on places to go and where to eat and served also as a tour guide. The ladies at home made us feel so loved and so taken care of. They were so incredibly sweet. The staff alone made the stay so worth it. The house is tucked away on the north part of the island and allowed you to feel secluded. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Thank you for the wonderful experience."
