The staff were wonderful - Sepi and Ayu are great cooks and went above and beyond making our stay great. Our driver Jutta was a wonderful guide and had great ideas for places to go. "Spent only 1 night at NusaBay Menjangan but was an amazing stay. Lanai Cottage was very comfortable and well thought out. From our arrival to our departure, the staff were all attentive and very helpful. There is only 1 restaurant by the beach for all meals but loved the view. Corals by the jetty were pretty enough. But we signed up for the snorkelling tour which brought us by boat to Menjangan Island (15 - 20 minutes away). There are 2 snorkelling sites by the shore of the island, both corals with cliff edges 50m deep. One called Blue Corner reef and the other called Mangrove Reef. "

"Villa Pardu is a roomy four bedroom home with a large, comfy and well appointed patio, built-in pool and lovely landscaping which is situated on a black sand beach. During the day the house is open to the soft ocean breezes and gentle sounds of the waves upon the beach. But there’s more. The staff at the Villa are so amazing that they make the 24 hour plane ride worth the trip. Darma the driver/guide is so knowledgeable about everything Bali that we needed only to tell him the kinds of things we like or were interested in and he put together a daily adventure to Temples, waterfalls, batik artists, coffee farms, chocolate factory, dolphin viewing and for one of us, a sunrise volcano climb and more. Ita, the Villa cook, prepared the best and most beautifully presented meals we had in Bali. We are not big meat eaters, so every meal Ita served was a riot of colors and textures so lovely we couldn’t wait to see what she would create next. Desak, the Villa housekeeper, is so helpful, ask for something and it’s done. She is so sweet and gentle that it is a joy to have her around. The pool and grounds are kept beautifully, the pool is cleaned and vacuumed each morning. Even if you never left the Villa the staff is so helpful and accommodating that you would have a wonderful time. The hosts were responsive to our questions and Budi, the property manager, took care of things that needed repair immediately. I would definitely stay here again."
