This place is truly awful. I made my reservation and paid through this site, but when I showed up, the man at the "front desk" (the gas station) had no record of my reservation and tried to charge me again. I had to pull up my email to confirm. The room was dingy, with ceiling tiles, awful fluorescent lighting, 1-ply toilet paper, no bedside table, puttied over fixtures, no floor mat so I tracked dirt all over, etc: a bargain motel at the very best, not a $90/night room. But the TV worked, so I sat on the bed, worked, and watched football. When I pulled back the sheets to get into bed, there was dirt and hair all over them. There was a half-smoked cigarette (it was a non-smoking room) on the floor. I tried to go to the gas station to ask for another room, but they had closed for the night. As a solo female traveler, I wasn't super into the idea of sleeping in the car, the motel up the road wasn't answering their door, and weather conditions were too cold to drive safety in my rented economy car, so I slept on the floor, in case the dirt in the bed was actually bedbug poop. Instead of a refund, all Hotels.com (the merchant of record on this transaction) could offer me was a $25 coupon for my next booking, which is not going to happen and won't even cover whatever massage or chiropractic work I'm going to need for my lower back. Definitely lost a loyal customer with this one.
