The breakfast was adequate, but not all the homemade food items that we were led to believe reading other reviews. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend a stay there. There are several restaurants and interesting things to see around town. We booked through Expedia and got a pretty good deal.」

「A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. 「I like this hotel chain normally but this one was undergoing renovations and had a smell to it. Had to grab breakfast and eat in room, no dining area, but still thankful for the food. Felt safe staying here while hauling a trailer and parked on the street outside of parking lot. Would stay again if in the area, and renovated complete. Staff were awesome.」
