「My travel agent had originally booked me a hotel inland, but I couldn’t visit Sri Lanka’s coastline without spending a night by the beach. I found this hotel on Hotels.com, and I’m so glad I did! The location ( right on a quiet, scenic stretch of beach) was peaceful and beautiful. Most of the time, I had the beach almost entirely to myself. 「We had one night in Galle, and were lucky enough to get the ENORMOUS family room - an amazing experience for the entire family. As it was off season (late October), the hotel was quiet and there was some renovation going on, but it was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend! One thing I have to mention: The bedframe extends beyond the mattress and since it's dark wood, it's impossible to see in the dark - two of us came home with some pretty bad shin scrapes :) 」
