"The house itself is beautiful but all around it is extremely badly taking care of. The yard is a mess, the grass high, and just next to some run down green houses. Some kind of a huge computer was making a terrible noise when we arrived, the owner allow us to turned it off thankfully. Could be a wonderful place to stay "

"Quel séjour formidable dans cette maison ancienne et familiale, perdue dans la montagne ! Cette maison est immense, traditionnelle, et surtout, chargée de 150 ans d'histoire. Il y a des photos de famille et du village très émouvantes, c'était bouleversant d'imaginer la vie qui a pu exister dans ce hameau. "This ryokan is intended to be a place you go to relax. There isn’t a lot to do by design, other than eat, sleep, onsen, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in comfort. We did half-board and the food is fantastic. The staff were very nice. The onsen were beautiful, especially the open air one on the fourth floor. There are six or seven onsen total including the three private ones. "
