「Very clean, very clear instructions. The bit of breakfast offered was nice, especially when arriving late the night before. Bathrooms were clean and appropriate the instructions. Would definitely stay again.」

「I dont know how it usually works at hotels in the area, but I arrived at the hotel around 5PM and no one was around. I found a room key and a note and I let myself into the room which was located right by the counter So when people were checking out in the morning, I could hear everything and woke me up. I also stayed at other hotels in the area, and by comparison, the price here was higher. So, I cannot say it was a good experience. Other than that, the room was neat and in the great location.」

「It was in a great location. I do not like contactless check in and service. There were no amenities. Shower head and faucet did not work properly. We were moved to another room which was better except that the shower was filthy. Mold in the shower. We were so discussed that we left early the next morning. Not high end or classy. We were charged for a cleaning fee and were told it will be refunded. It still is on the card.」

「This bed & breakfast in the Chatham area is awesome! Very near to all Cape Cod area locations for visiting, sight-seeing, etc.; breakfast was cooked-to-order and delicious; room has been updated (new bathroom remodel) and was perfect for our 2-night stay. Would definitely re-book this location in the future.」

「Loved the Black Walnut Inn. I would love to go back. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast is delicious. A very generous spread. Self-serve tea and coffee is available at all times in the dining room area. There are also treats one can help oneself too. Chocolate chip cookies our first day and molasses cookies the second. Meghan bakes the best cookies. Seriously, the best. The owners are very warm. If we visit Amherst again, staying here would be our first choice. Thank you.」
