Overall a nice property. My issues were the noise from the road starting at 6:00 am, there was no bottle of wine as advertised and I couldn’t get the NFL game on the TV. Not a big deal but for the money, might be better off elsewhere.

This place is adorable. The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t get the heater to work and when we messaged the staff, as directed, we got no response. Also the walls are very thin and we couldn’t hear a tv or people talking all night.

Beautiful “boutique hotel” within walking distance to everything you’d like to do in Rockport. However, do not believe Expedia when they say breakfast included, as they no longer provide breakfast.

What makes the Addison Choate especially enchanting is its setting. Just a leisurely stroll from Bearskin Neck’s quaint shops, art galleries, and seaside paths, the inn offers the perfect balance of peaceful retreat and walkable exploration. Whether you wander to the Shalin Liu Performance Center or simply enjoy the salt‑tinged breeze along the coast, the inn feels like a natural extension of Rockport’s charm.

Lovely old house that has become a beautiful inn. Walkable to downtown, train station, beach, terrific porch for outdoor afternoon relaxing. Our room “Wide Berth” was clean, spacious and bright, with two comfortable side chairs. Window ac unit was quiet and kept the room at just the right temp. Commin spaces were clean and well decorated.

Another great stay! Close to everything and most importantly, the most comfortable bed! Our room was beautiful and the common areas were enjoyable (first time we ever used them). And the A/C did the trick for this crazy heat wave!

We enjoyed the place and had it pretty much all to ourselves for two off-season nights. The house is beautiful and we walked down to the waterfront to have breakfast both days. it was a very enjoyable stay with easy entry, ample parking and excellent water pressure in the shower.

We booked this on a complete last minute 4th of July whim and could not have been happier with our stay. Beautiful carriage house with full kitchen and enough room for my husband and I to have our own spaces when needed. Classy decor and hvac worked efficiently on unexpected 100 degree days. Can’t wait to go back. I also highly recommend Rockport as a fun, quintessential New England coastal town - especially on July 4th. I strongly recommend the Addison Choate!

Thank you for a wonderful restful stay in Rockport Mass. The staff was very helpful and Marshall was very good to us. The parking was a plus and within walking distance of the village. The room was outstanding and thank you for the wine and sweet candy as reward for beng a platinum member. I hope to visit again. Linda & Nanette
