"This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby."

The home is pretty small—great for two or three with very little play area inside for kids—but there are several great outside areas on the deck, around the pool and stream. In terms of accessibility, three steps up to the doorway, a step down to the master bedroom and a step up to the ensuite master bath."

"We had a nice time staying here. The place is just as described. It is clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We had things to do in Purchase and in NYC and the location was perfect for us. I got to meet the owner and he even contacted me when I parked incorrectly so I could avoid a parking ticket. There is a grocery store, Costco, pharmacy, restaurants, and many other businesses very close to. If I have to go back next year, I will be looking to see if this rental is available again."

"We had a fantastic time with our family in this stylish home. Quick hour and a half drive from Manhattan which made it the perfect getaway, very spacious (we had a large group), beautiful interiors and a great outdoor fire pit which we enjoyed plenty! Cooked great meals in their well stocked kitchen. The property is close to several cute towns for easy day trips. Would highly recommend this home and hope we can come back soon!"

"The house was perfect for our stay! We were visiting our Air Force Cadet who was skydiving at West Point. We wanted something close to the academy and the house was a fantastic location (like 5 mins) - close to the gate.
