"We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The large bath has some issues with being clean...maybe it is just old. Breakfast has a lot of choices, but half is Japanese style. The room was comfortable."

"Upon check in I explained to the staff member my Japanese was not very good and asked them to speak slowly. They spoke fast. I asked them again to slow down but they continued to speak fast. It was a little embarrassing for me. The elevator takes a while since there is only one. The room was a standard business hotel room, but the pillows were hard, and there was an incredible amount of dust collecting behind the TV. On the other hand, the onsen was nice, and parking was free and convenient. "

"Old fashioned Japanese hotel, but clean environment. Free coffee on arrival and light breakfast was offered. Open air onsen was very nice Only issue was, there was no toilet inside the room which things a bit interesting at night when the human nature was calling. "Excellent traditional experience, onsen is great and the traditional food sets (both breakfast and dinner) are very nice. Only problems I had overall were maintaince going on during my stay (landscaping and some light building work), and some parts of the building are showing their age (especially in the onsen and lobby areas). Bonus note, some of the hole in the wall restaurants nearby are excellent and the rual area nearby is great for a break from the big cities (it has that fresh air countryside feel)."
