Hotel Felix was in a fantastic location. The staff were very friendly. Our room on the 9th floor with 2 double beds was small, with only a mini fridge. The curtains were old and difficult to open and close. The WiFi would drop or was very slow. The television also provided issues, turning off or to the starting screen, multiple times. The hotel offered only coffee/tea and fresh fruit until 9am. The staff made our stay more enjoyable.

We were so excited to book the Fairmont as we had stayed and got married at the Seattle location and received phenomenal customer service. When we arrived at checkin, we had requested the highest floor available. It was a corner room which was very narrow, especially the restroom! What’s worse was that it was right by the elevator and the noise was loud! Wish we were told of this before requesting the highest floor as we asked for a room change the following morning. After explaining the situation with the room being close to the elevator, the staff immediately said there’s nothing available without even looking at the computer. After pushing a little bit, she looked at her computer and found a couple room options, and with manager approval we got to change our room. It was literally night and day. This room was way more spacious, not a corner room, and away from elevator noise. I highly recommend corner rooms and signature rooms to not be in the same category. Also, this hotel needs a major facelift to match its other locations. Lastly, some staff need to be trained better in hospitality. Some were not friendly empathetic, while some were incredibly friendly.
