"We had a very nice stay at the Bourbon Orleans. Check in was confusing but overall it was a very nice stay. The bed was very, VERY comfortable for us with nice fluffy pillows. We had an upgraded room due to sold out petite king rooms. The room was spacious, updated and the usual amenities. Now the seating and mirror on the wall could be hugely improved. The seating is too minimal, 2 little stools and a tiny table we're basically useless. The mirror is placed too close to the main door entry area, needs to be moved over about a foot so when you're getting ready your not constantly in each other's way. Now as for the noise level, I thought it would be fairly quite as we were on the end and on the 5th floor. That was not true, you can hear everything happening in the hallway, doors slamming all the way down the hall can be heard. The ding of the elevator doors can be heard. There is a gap at the bottom of the door so one can actually conversations. But after bed time it was usually quiet. We had an interior room looking out onto the pool, that was lovely. No balcony. The staff were very nice and helpful and I would recommend the hotel to friends and we would come back. "

Garden District Magic!

"The House and Garden have fairy tale properties. We were three adult couples with a dog. Each couple had their own suite with plenty of privacy and enough of it's own character to make everyone feel they had a special stay. I think our pug was happiest. He had the whole walled courtyard to run around and chase the many tiny lizards. The area is very walkable for people and pets. Everything you could want is a 5- 10 minute walk. Trolly takes you to Bourbon street in about 30 minutes or Lyft in 20. The character, history, beauty of the house was amazing. The first floor suite is just off the kitchen with a full size fridge and extra private courtyard, who knew staying in a stable could be so delux! Could go on and on but just so grateful to have found the place. Oh yea, did I mention the saltwater pool. By the time you are done exploring the city it feels real good!"
