"Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! Post-hike, we moved from Tokyo to Osaka with a stop at the Ryokan in Shimada. Two families (eight of us) stayed at Kappo Ryokan Uoichi and had a wonderful time. "A nice hotel located about a 5mins walk away from the train station. The rooms are comfortable enough, although some things in the room didn't really make sense, like having an induction stove in the room but there is no induction stove cooking ware. I would also like to have two hotel key card instead of just the one they gave me during check in. "
