We stayed for one night, and didn't eat on property. We had an executive room. Bed was comfortable, room is a little small. Bathroom was nice. Never could get wifi to work. The front desk was friendly and English was not a problem. Went to see basilica Saint Mary of the Assumption, close by and well worth a couple of hours.

Great parking on property and the staff is incredibly helpful with whatever is needed. Only downside was my room was in a weird spot where i have to take stairs to get to the elevator which resulted in myself carrying all luggage out of the room up a flight of stairs. Short walk to centre and a great location across from a beautiful park.

Drivers there are atrocious. It’s very far from Milan. The staff was super nice . The hotel is terribly overpriced and there is absolutely nothing to do in town. The hotel is in terrible disrepair. For instance our shower the water pressure and temperature we wildly inconsistent. You almost have to try to mess it up that badly. The other examples of the sad state are almost too numerous to list.

Amazing view - customer service

Villa Appiani is at a great location to get to center of Florence without being right in the center of it. It's a quite location where you can relax after a day of sightseeing and they have a great resturant. Also they provide shuttle service to the entrance of Florence at no extra cost. It's a bit of a walk but worth it. They have two drop off locations close to Florence or midway at another popular sightseeing stop. We really enjoyed staying there and would defenitely do so again if the opportunity arises.
