The location is very convenient, no doubt; for example, within about 15 minutes one can walk to any of the big three art museums in Madrid, and there is a great park right next door for fantastic jogging. Our room was fairly quiet with view onto a side street; the beds are fairly comfortable. The amenities are not great for a 4-star hotel; no free bottle of water, no Klenex(!), no fitness room. They were also, so it seems, trying to save on the breakfast fruit, cutting every grape in two and every kiwi in eight pieces (with skin); a couple of bananas might be there at the very beginning but once gone, no more (for the next 3 hours!); also the breakfast rooms are acoustically not insulated at all; one family with two kids and the place suddenly becomes incredibly noisy and reverberant. So overall, the place seemed quite stingy to us, when it would have cost them perhaps 5 Euro per day extra to make us really happy.
