"One night (Tuesday) stay after a theatre visit. Haven’t stayed at the hotel since the Ramada days and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Obviously had been referred since we last stayed and very impressed with it room very clean, nice sized bathroom (although a little high getting in bath for a shower ok for me as I’m 6-2 but a little struggle for her who is 5-4). Bed super comfy lovely nights sleep. Nice selection of tea coffee etc. no fridge in room which was not an issue for 1 night. Staff pleasant and helpful. Didn’t eat at hotel so cannot comment. Overall Excellent 5 ⭐️ 👍"

"The food was delicious, cooked breakfast and 3 course evening meals. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic evening entertainment. I would definitely stay here again."

"Food was good, bed was murder 😩 i did ask for a topper but unfortunately they don't have them. They put a quilt under so we could sleep on that but it never made any difference. The only thing i would say that was bad about our stay was the mattress."

"No on-site parking, but there is a very convenient carbpark just minutes away. Bars, restaurants and shops all within a shorr walk of the hotel."

"Our room was lovely, really spacious. Me and my daughter had a great stay. I was disappointed to learn after booking that there was an additional £10 fee for the children's activities. We didn't bother with these in the end. Also it was unclear from the website that children are only allowed in the pool at certain times, again this was disappointing. All in all though we had a great stay."
