"The Atlantis Hotel, which is located in the middle of Heraklion, is the perfect hotel for my recent visit of the beautiful island Crete on the 4th to the 8th of May this early spring. I had great views of the Koules Fortress from the room; the warm hospitality of the front desk and its staff (Maria and her team at the Food & Bev are simply amazing! Thank you, Maria!); the hotel is merely a few hundred steps away from the old town which made it really convenient! All these and more made my husband and I’s holiday there a memorable one! I highly recommend Atlantis Hotel to any future tourist of Crete!"

"Lovely appointed hotel, very peaceful, convenient and with secure parking. We used this hotel for a 2 day stop over, before catching the ferry to Santorini. Could not get a more luxurious and convenient hotel for the ferry!! Highly recommend the restaurant Peskesi in Heraklion (book) and a visit to Stilianou winery (both highlights of our brief but very comfortable stay at this hotel)."

"This is a well situated hotel which has been recently refurbished I believe however our visit was not great. On arrival we were just handed a key and told where to go. The room was okay but the bathroom was small and the shower not great for someone of any stature. The door on the shower was a noisy metal thing and Aircon was also loud. The staff were not particularly friendly and definitely not helpful. We asked 3 different people about a late checkout and each one said it was someone else. We gave up in the end . On leaving we were just given our receipt and no remarks such as have you enjoyed your stay or safe trip home It was not one of our best hotel stays in heraklion."

"Gorgeous property with immaculate amenities! We got a balcony room with ocean view and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were modern and upscale design with marble showers and floors. Opportunity for food and drinks at the main building and by the pool. The all inclusive dining was of great quality, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this resort. Also, they are very family friendly."

"We booked here for an overnight as we were awaiting our ferry. The hotel is new and clean and the staff is professional and helpful. However, some rooms (including the one we were given) are not sufficiently insulated against internal and external noise. Ours was located on the mezzanine floor directly next to the breakfast restaurant with our room door directly across from the service station. In addition, there was a party next to the hotel until late into the night. Between the two, we could only manage a few hours sleep between 3am and 7am."
