"Picturesque place by the river. Very quiet and a great place to stay with a family, as the miniature railway for children is just across the road by the bridge. The chalet we stayed in needs a little update and TLC, but was very clean and tidy. Very good large dining area and the choice for both adults and children was good."

"Great location, small but comfy room with lovely mattress on the bed, friendly staff and good choice of breakfast items (continental and cooked). We were able to check in early as our rooms were ready and there was plenty of parking in the hotel car park (out of season). The only negative was the soundproofing between rooms - we could hear the entire phone conversation from the man next door and throughout the night, could hear bathroom fans running. "
