The Icon building’s communal facilities include a co-working space, a ground floor bar and restaurant with extensive outdoor seating, a gym and secure storage space.

The light-filled apartment sleeps 4 people in considerable comfort. The living room has a large glass door that leads out onto a private balcony with a wooden table and four chairs, so guests can dine al fresco and enjoy stunning views. The stone-floored living area has a contemporary sofa, a flat-screen Smart TV and a dining table with 4 seats. In the stylish, open-plan kitchen you will find everything you might need during your stay: a cooker hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso machine.

Location
On the border of Switzerland and Italy, the city of Lugano is famous for its stunning location, rich cultural heritage and excellent restaurants and cafés. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20 minutes walk) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. For business travellers, the apartment is just an 11-minute walk from the Centro Esposizioni Lugano exhibition centre and an 18-minute walk from the Palazzo Dei Congressi Lugano.

A day trip on the Lago Lugano is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. From there, an aperitif in Piazza della Riforma, the heart of the city, is a relaxing way to end the day. If you prefer to cook yourself, then Lungano’s farmers’ market (Tuesdays and Fridays) in Via Carducci (20 minutes walk) is the place to go to pick up the best ingredients.


The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 5 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 25-minute walk from the apartment.
