「Midweek trip to Buxton and surrounding area. Host, Louise was extremely helpful before during and after our stay. The rooms are modern, well equipped and very comfortable for short stays. The property is very well located for public transport and just a short walk to Buxton attractions We would highly recommend 」

「I was very impressed with the Queen's Head. Nice clean room in a great location in Higher Buxton. Housekeeping promptly every day. First-rate full English breakfast included. My only complaint is that the room was rather small. There was no space to have an open suitcase, so I had to stuff it in a closet. That was a little inconvenient. Of course, I realize there is nothing they can do about that. It is an old building, and the room size is what it is.」

「All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Limited menu but the food was freshly cooked and good. Good breakfast menu again freshly cooked. Well placed for visits to Jodrell Bank and Little Moreton Hall. A good wifi connection which was free to use. 」

「We enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. Ideally located for our Alton Towers trip. Lots of nice restaurants in Leek too. Apartment was very comfortable, beds comfy too with crisp white linen and towels. Good instructions for entry. Some more information about bins etc would have been good. WiFi was a bit iffy at times but didn’t hugely impact on us. Connection instructions weren’t correct but we worked it out eventually. Would consider staying again when next visiting Alton Towers. 」

「Liz and her team run a very friendly, comfortable, hotel and bar. The food is the best in Prestbury and the Cocktails are superb. We slept incredibly well and left feeling very chilled. We stayed for a visit to Jodrell Bank but may well just come back to chill 」
