We chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the train station and the fact that we could leave our bags. Two positives did not outweigh the fact that you could hear the noise from the busses and/or construction all hours of the evening. As time passed past midnight, I thought that the noise would subside. Incorrect. It went on all night long! Perhaps if we were in a room that was not facing the train station it would have been a better stay. Maybe the hotel needs to invest in triple pane, or quadruple pane windows for those facing the train station. If you care about sleep, then choose a different hotel.

First time in Italy and what a great introduction to Florence with this great hotel in the middle of this vibrant city. The staff was fun and amazing giving good advice where to dine at traditional restaurants that is walking distance. The best part is the upstairs indoor outdoor breakfast area with good selection of pastry, eggs, bacon etc even fresh honeycomb honey u can spoon it right out. In the evening outdoor terrace serves drinks and cocktail overlooking the city of Florence for a beautiful sunset. The elevator was a bit small and if u took the stairs was a little confusing but that was part of the charm and character of this hotel that made it special. I truly felt like i was experiencing Italy in this hotel and that's what makes traveling most enjoying.
