"This hotel is perfect!!! We loved the check in process which is the easiest i have ever encountered. The hotel is so cute and nostalgic. I fell in love with the room, the lobby and the restaurant. Very nice people here. The food was absolutely delicious. The music playing in the hotel lobby was lite and relaxing. The bed in room 6 was so comfortable like a big fluffy cloud. The mercantile has the most unique items. I wish i would have time to visit the old time soda shop. The coffee bar was awesome. I love the patriot coffee k cups . The honey for the coffee was top tier. There is nothing about this place that we did not love. Please do yourself a favor and stop by, i promise its worth the stop. There is also a small barber shop at the entrance of the hotel. Thank yall for the kindness shown to us and we cant wait to visit again"

"This a cabin in a state park. It was very clean and had newer upgrades. Bring the food you need because it's fairly distance from a grocery. We came later in the day because we needed one night and this was a great price and not a chain hotel which we like. There is a little store not too far from the park. We ordered deli sandwiches from here and picked up some icecream. The sandwiches were delicious and the store had pretty much whatever you might need. The checkin process was great with good communication about which cabin to go to, what the door code was etc... We plan to come back for a longer stay so we can have another evening around the firepit and see all of the stars. Great place to stay."

"My wife and I stayed here for anniversary trip. The fox den is a perfect combination of 1970's vibes, while still having modern conveniences. We appreciated the fresh eggs provided and well stocked kitchen for making breakfast.The host put much effort in making sure it was great experience with great guidebook that provided information on everything in the fox den and recommended local places for dining and exploring. We also had the charcuterie add-on, which looked and tasted amazing and was perfect for snacking on during our stay.The location is very secluded as described. My only advice would be to plan your excursions from the fox den as it does take some extra travel time (especially if you normally live in more populated areas) than what you may be used to. That being said the natural beauty of the area, along with the peace and quiet was worth the extra distance. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend the fox den to anyone looking for escape into both nature and the 1970's."

"Great location to access the lake close by. Very picturesque location.Pics are a lil deceiving in that things are actually on a smaller scale IRL but still good amenities.Be aware, the pond is not swimmable but paddle boat is fun."

"Beautiful property, large and spacious home with a great porch that was perfect for visiting with family. Dora was great, flawless communication throughout the entire booking and stay. The drive to the property was well worth it. Would recommend to anyone wanting a well-appointed, private getaway with family and friends."
