"We left after we learned the pool was “out of order”, the tv didn’t work in our first or second room we were assigned. Overall didn’t feel comfortable in the hallways of room. "

"Great staff and amazing price point at the Sleep Inn at Staunton! Colleen greeted us at check-in and was extremely friendly and helpful. When we went upstairs and realized she had given us a double queen room (turned out to be due to a miscommunication from Expedia), I returned to the desk to let her know I had booked a king (per my confirmation and receipt), and she switched us without issue, as there was still one available. Our room was clean with a super comfy bed and plenty of pillows. Room temp was easily controlled. Had a microwave and fridge and everything we needed for a quick overnight halfway home from a southern road trip vacation. Property is clean and up-to-date and the area feels very safe at night. Only downside was the thin walls, but as regular budget-conscious travelers we are used to that and always bring a fan or sound machine to ensure a restful night. Super convenient, right off I-81 and lots of places to dine nearby. Free breakfast was basic but good hotel fare, and we appreciated that it was still hot and plentiful when we came down at 8:30, even though it was offered 6 to 9am. Staunton is a great little city, and the hotel was so nice (and affordable!) that we’re thinking of a weekend trip there when the weather is warmer!"
