Pod 51
8/10 Good
"I was very happy with this affordable hotel that’s very conveniently located on Midtown Manhattan’s East Side. The full pod with the private bathroom was just right for me. It can accommodate 2 people but it’s most comfortable for one. There was enough room for my luggage, space to hang clothes, and under bed storage drawers. There’s even a little desk in the room. The bathroom area is a little unusual with a sliding frosted glass door that gives privacy when using the toilet but then you can totally see into the shower through a clear glass wall when you move the door. Again, it’s probably better suited for a solo traveler. I would’ve liked a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold but they don’t include that. You can purchase beverages and breakfast snacks in the lobby in the mornings. The rooftop deck was really nice to enjoy during the beautiful weather. The one thing that was a little disruptive was hearing other guests go in and out of the shared restrooms in the hallway, especially at times like 1am and 3am on a couple of nights and they were noisy, But overall it was a very pleasant experience and I would stay there again. I also appreciated the checkout time being 1:00pm, since it seems like most other hotels want you out by 11:00am. I did eat at Clinton Hall one night with friends and, though the food was fine, the music was blasting way too loud in there to carry on a decent conversation during dinner. I’d probably avoid dining there again."

"Would definitely recommend and stay again ! Beautiful people working there that were so helpful. Amenities were awesome and room clean as a whistle. There was a daily $20 allowance for the cafe next door to hutch was amazing ."
Hotel Riu Plaza Manhattan Times Square

"The staff were super helpful and friendly. The views from our room were spectacular. The room was also very nice, with a comfortable bed."
PUBLIC, an Ian Schrager hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Nice rooms, great gym, super lovely terrace, but corridors can be a bit noisy and I heard they can be very picky or charge more for weekend access to the rooftop. But my trip was great and without issue. Bedroom door handles could be less stiff and doors close less heavily…"

"hotel was excellent, small but what else do you expect in new york ( good size). amenities and vibe were lit. overall, best part was the rooftop bar (view was so beautiful)"
The Lexington Hotel, Autograph Collection
8/10 Good
"Experience was very good! Staff was super friendly and understanding, got lucky to get my rooms when I arrived. Only bad thing is the bathroom doesn’t have a fan, but you can open the little window. Other than that everything was fine!"
31 Street Broadway Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The building management was helpful. We didn't have to get in touch with the host at all. The check in was smooth. If you arrive earlier than your check in time there in no place to keep your luggage."
