"The suites are really good 👍 i had my cat there which was really nice to have my pet there. The suite has a washer dryer in it which was very convenient i was so excited to know that. I dont know many that have that. The restaurant up the hill is not available until 5 for dinner when i was there i didnt try it. There is a salon and spa at the top of the hill also didnt book that. But the suite had a fireplace and a spa tub in it jetted it wasnt huge but it was nice to be able to prepare a hot tub in the room. Staff delightful, the hotel has an arcade space great for kids and even adults. There are refreshments jn the lobby i didnt know that till later in the stay and there is a pool and hot tub too. I didnt try either of those. In the suite tho there are rooms 1 for the bed another with kitchen dining room and sofa with tv and the bathroom. Comes with a closet near kitchen and closet off of bedroom and a very large bureau with a place for jewelry in one of the drawers very fancy i didnt use it. The view is of trees and a driveway from the room but it didnt matter it was quiet. Also didnt hear too much from guests through walls. A bit in hallway but not too much mostly quiet overall good stay!"

"The hotel was so cute!! Very small hotel, very quiet and it was amazing that the windows in the rooms opened for fresh air. The backyard area, pool and hot tub were extremely clean. Very cute sitting area with games and books and a fireplace in the winter. Will absolutely be booking again in the future! "

"This is a very sweet, cozy and comfortable stay. Very clean rooms, the grounds are well cared for, dappled by potted plants, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy. One downside is that it is on a busy road, so it’s not super quiet but nonetheless - it’s still a gem and rare to find such a place. Highly recommend!"

"This is the third time we have stayed at the black bear lodge in Stratton and every time we stay our experience is the same.. excellent. The staff are all so nice and accommodating, the property is clean and the breakfast is perfect. The rooms are comfortable and clean, it really is the perfect place to stay in Vermont.
