The check-in process was easy and the staff was courteous. We had to wait a bit for them to finish cleaning the room but it was fine. The Studio family room included a full kitchen that was a bonus. The best thing about the hotel is the price for the location. Location is great

Great location. Contact with the hotel prior to arrival impossible. They only replied to an email after I arrived and there was no direct phone contact.
Property was clean but a little musty. Rooms were bare. A kettle was provided but no tea/coffee. The suite had a separate kitchen with 1 mug, one knife and fork.
Great location near Hyde park with tube access. Hotel room not as expected. Our suite was in a basement with a dark, dirty entrance. Our towels were replaced once in 8 days. Garbage picked up once. No other service. Furniture cheap and damaged. Beds were comfortable & clean however basic. Stove loose so didn't use. Fridge and microwave ok. Washer broken. Two fans for AC with one broken. Walls damaged. Not sure if this is typical of London for the price but didn't feel comfortable. Basic facilities. Would not stay again.
“You get what you pay for” is all I can say. Location was incredible, which was our priority but everything else was very underwhelming. The room was clean enough, could use a proper deep clean but the towels and sheets were clean and it didn’t feel grimey. The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the room was very small, no space for luggage or unpacking or anything really. The bathroom was also very compact, with thin walls, but the shower was hot and decent. I did like that the front door to the building required a key, as mentioned, the location was perfect for us, steps away from the top of Hyde park, between 3 tube stations and on a main bus route road, easy walking to paddington station too plus it’s off a shopping high street with all the convenient shops and restaurants. I can definitely see why they’ve received so many complaints and negative reviews, it’s very dated and could use a lot of work, but when you chose to stay at one of the cheapest options in a good area you have to lower your expectations. Probably won’t book here again though.
I liked the room overall, The bathroom smelled bad, so could have used an air freshener. Also they should provide a hand towel not just body towels. I love that they had an iron, ironing board, hot pot, dishes, refrigerator, stove, all great. Complimentary tea bags and sugar would be a nice touch! The front desk people were nice. Also more than one room key would help for when your party goes out separately. An elevator would be great. Walking up 4 flights of stairs with heavy suitcases is a challenge.

No AC and my room faced west, so very hot, even with fan going and windows open (no screens, but happily no bugs). No chair, though there was room. Very clean, which was lovely. No sheet and the duvet was too warm (obviously). No bedside table (I upended a wastebasket to set my travel clock etc.). Friend's room had bathroom fan running constantly. BUT good neighborhood, comfortable beds, friendly and helpful staff.

The location of the hotel is very convenient and close to two tube stations. Also, it’s very quiet at night and the room was pretty big and clean. However there are certain points which bothered us at our stay. We arrived at the hotel late (2:30am) since our flight arrived at night. There was no information on advance how the check in procedure would be like. So, we rang the bell and no one answered for at least 10 minutes. Fortunately, staff arrived later, but we were worried to not being able to access to our room and wished we would have gotten some information. Second, the water pressure in the shower was very low which was a problem when showering. Also, the WiFi didn’t work at all. Overall there are some points to improve, but we had a pleasantly stay.

I haven't stay in such a dirty hotel. Be careful the building doesn't have a lift. There are rooms on the 4th floor with soooo many stairs. Also the water doesn't have pressure and we couldn't even rinse our body. The worst hotel I've ever stayed.

Easy to Queens Station, close to buckingham palace
Need to check your drains in room 40. Shower does not drain very quick.
Arrived and was greeted by piles of dirty linen on the floor that we had to step over. Man (staff) wondering around with blood on tee-shirt and bandaged arm. No towels in room. Bathroom so small you couldn’t sit on the toilet with the door closed. Shower door didn’t close.
Terrible place I arrived early they let me keep my bags in office until check in when I arrived back for my check in everything was wrong they put me in a room in the basement with 3 beds and a separate washroom it was disgusting stains all over the carpet, doors walls ect possible blood. The beds were dirty with hairs all over them and stains bathroom was no cleaner. I original booked a double room suite. I refused to stay there was no one on site I had to wait for someone to come to the hotel to explain my frustration. They then told me to wait outside And I was later transfers to another hotel down the street which they manage. The conditions over there were much better but over all my stay was not very pleasant due to all of the run around. Would not recommend staying here.
Disgusting. I am going to call them thieves until they give me my money back. I paid in full prior to arriving. When I arrived they told me I had to pay. They said they took 160 pound and then my card declined. I said it did not and I have paid in advance. He kept saying no. I showed him where I had paid.He kept saying no no. we were told and had no choice to pay. we get to our room which was discussing. Nothing like the photos. I will get back to that. I contact hotels.com and explain the situation with my payment. They call the hotel straight away and get it resolved kind of. I go back to reception and they say they will put it in my bank account straight away and want my details. I say no just put it back on the card. He keeps asking for my routing number and account number. I said no. He says he will put it on my card and as yet I have not got my money back. The room was dirty, slugs on the floor on the second day cockroaches on the third day as well as a case of bed bug bites. The start of our trip and on the 4 th day I have to spend washing all of our clothes again. Don’t stay there. I can not say enough of how disgusting it was. We should have left the first morning but I had paid and they had over $1000 extra of my money. I never ask for money back, however this time I feel they owe me compensation. I would never recommend this not even to my ex husband.

The location is excellent and close to the Bayswater tube but that’s all. To start the suite that they advertise is a mess. As soon i finished the check in they informed me that the stove was not working, then they told me since there is no A/C to use a fan. There was no fan and they got me a fan the night before we were leaving and we stayed four nights. Since there is no elevator the minimum they could do was to help get the luggage upstairs and not just stand looking how i managed to bring 3 suitcases upstairs since we were a party of five. I wished i could say that’s it but the worst part was that someone from the cleaning crew went through my personal belongings. Nothing was stolen but it felt like I was robbed. In other words i would never stay at this place ever again. They have a long way to learn about customer service. Appliances dont work or are invisible. Thanks
