"After difficulty finding and getting to the barge. (I’d recommend contacting owners - you often need a code for locked gates to get quai side - they don’t give you this information so you need to request it) we found the setting beautiful. Loved the decor in the Art Deco room of the Barge. The hosts provide everything needed, even putting milk, butter and orange juice in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. 10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful hotel right in the heart of Bordeaux centre. An ideal base for exploring the city on foot, close to many of the sights and endless cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from. A special mention to the excellent reception staff who helped us book a *very* early taxi to the train station when our original train was cancelled. And even gave us a coffee to fuel us for the 4.30am start! We look forward to our next visit. "
