「No parking only down road a bit far if you can’t walk far or disabled
also stairs very steep
and too many lorries turning up at 5am for deliveries and people screaming and shouting late at night from 2 public houses down the road and to top it all from 7am Monday and Tuesday morning young school children waiting for restaurant Haystack to open for school club the hotel itself is excellent condition very high specification finish very clean condition no hot water till 8am」
「We were here for a few days to explore this part of Wales. This house with self-catering rooms was ideal for our stay.
A short walk away is a wonderful cafe with fresh baked goods and a nice espresso.
The town centre is a short distance down the hill where there are a few pubs, shops and restaurants.
There are some great hiking opportunities nearby as well. 」
「Lovely studio, but 2 things to address:
1 - the shower is not powerful when the heat is turned up.
2- The bed is 2 singles joined together, it's on wheels, any movement and the bed just slides across the floor, maybe change the wheels to locking wheels, simple fix
But I'd definitely stay again, lovely little studio.」
「Great stay. Perfect to access the Brecons. Everything we needed in the studio. Very comfortable, clean, quiet with all facilities needed for our stay. 」
「We stayed for one night & chose the larger room when we booked so had plenty of space. Loved the decor & ordered the waterfall prints that were in the room when we got home to remind us of the waterfalls. Room did get hot (very warm weather when we stayed) but there was a fan & we probably hadn't got the velux windows open as far as they could go. Booked a table when we booked in & had a very enjoyable evening meal.」
「I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). 」
「From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into the B&B and offered refreshment after a long journey. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast choices were superb. Best cooked breakfast I have had in a long time. The host was very knowledgeable about the area and after we had attended a wedding ensured there was fresh milk for us to make a drink when we got back late in the evening. Thoroughly recommend. Beautiful walks just a short stroll from the door. 」
